Thanks to my friend Ben Davidson, he got me hooked on Diaclones. While I am not willing to shell out the hundreds to thousands of dollars on them, I am fortunate enough that Ehobby has made a few repaints in hommage to diaclone toys.

Though I am not sure why anyone would buy this, apparently Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles is coming out on BluRay! I guess this is a big hurray for all the people that liked the movie, though I was left with a bad taste in my mouth after I watched it.
Retail price is $29.99, but I can see this easily dropping below that price. Sometimes I wish HG would just die and stop releasing cr8p like this. If you are still pumped about it, the product description after the break.

The legendary Admiral Hunter is missing as a deadly new adversary threatens the vulnerable survivors of the Robotech wars. Vince Grant and Scott Bernard must race against time to unravel a treacherous mystery that could spell the end of the human race!

However, the mysterious disappearance of the legendary Admiral Hunter will unfold in a treacherous mystery that could tear apart our young heroes and threaten their very survival!

Diaclone was the toy line that was created by Takara in the late 70’s-early 80’s. The car robots were non-sentient. They came with small figures that were a part of another toy series, Microman.  Rather than make figures and toys to accomodate the GiJoe sized microman, they miniturized the figures and called them Diaclone Drivers.
Shoji Kawamori, the creator of Macross, actually designed Battle Convoy better known as Optimus Prime. Here are some pictures of Battle Convoy and other diaclone cars mixed in with some transformer figures.

Ever wonder what the Peanuts would look like if they were re-done in anime style? Well neither have I, but some fans have made so great art work to look at. More images after the break.

I found these a while ago. But I always remember them. They were someone’s ideas of what Peanuts could look like if turned into manga stylings.

I would like to see a doujinshi of this. (doujinshi means fan made)

So I have been waiting for these for a couple months eversince I heard about it on another forum, but had my doubts.

They are the Jakks Pacific EyeClops NVGs.

I found them this past weekend at Target $79.99 USD. For those of you across the pond, I don’t think you have target and im sorry for you. But check online. Anyway I say it is a pretty decent goggle system. it doenst look too kiddy and it is somewhat functional. It all depends on what you want to do with it.
