Solscud007 from Anime Punch has posted new detailed pictures of a Goodsmile Gokin Tachikoma with standing next to Stick.

Good Smile’s die-cast metal Tachikoma has finally been released to much fanfare across the globe! This inaugural entry in the Good Smile Gokin series features a superbly detailed and fully poseable Tachikoma, accompanied by an equally poseable PVC Motoko Kusanagi figure that can ride inside Tachikoma’s cockpit. About 21cm wide, the hefty Tachikoma comes painted in a glossy metallic finish and features movable arms, manipulators, and eyes, openable cockpit hatches, removable grenade cover, and an interchangeable gatling gun. The 9.5cm-tall Motoko figure comes with two interchangeable right hands, one wielding a handgun and the other with a machine gun.

Really a tour de force for the space program- it goes a long way toward exorcising ghosts of some fairly ignominious (heartbreaking) errors. They really got it right this time!Its also a wonderful and welcome reminder of the amazing and good things we can accomplish- both as a nation and a planet.
