    Just to put things into perspective, LF is the 2nd worst defensive position in major league baseball. The only position where players are worse than LF is 1B. Fred Lewis peer group is not very athletic, and simiply bad, defensively. His defense compared to his peers is most likely somewhere between average and above average for his position.
